برنامج العلوم والتكنولوجيا والهندسة والرياضيات

All grade levels at Al-Mawakeb enjoy active use of learning technologies inside and outside the classroom. For middle and high school students, curriculum delivery is supported by diverse educational resources, including exposure to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) labs and 3D printing.
Through a dedicated STEM lab, students have opportunities to apply their STEM program and collaborate effectively in a diverse, interconnected, and changing world through STEM-based education that emphasizes innovation, creativity, and hands-on learning. The lab is equipped with all the tools and technologies necessary for students to answer complex questions, investigate global issues, and develop solutions to real-world challenges and problems by integrating four specific disciplines—science, technology, engineering, and mathematics—into a multidisciplinary and applied approach.
School-based science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) activities align with content area standards—including the Next Generation Science Standards and Common Core Standards—and with general school guidance statements.
Students participate in several STEM fairs throughout the school year where they demonstrate their skills in developing and presenting projects to jurors and visitors.
