The health, safety, and well-being of all our children is of paramount importance to all the adults who work in our school. Our children have the right to protection, regardless of age, gender, race, culture, or disability. They have a right to be safe in our school.

How we handle concerns
1. Concern Identified – A staff member notices a sign or hears a disclosure
2. Report Initiated – The concern is documented and reported immediately
3. Internal Review – School safeguarding lead reviews the case
4. Follow-up Procedures – Appropriate action is taken according to policy
5. Support & Monitoring – The child receives continuous support
Staff responsibility & Role
- Mandatory reporting of suspected abuse
- Remain vigilant for signs of neglect
- Maintain confidentiality and proper documentation
- Follow protocols for escalation and communication
